'' The Master of Public Administration degree is designed to help prepare an individual for managerial responsibilities in national, state or local government; in regional planning agencies, and in non-profit organizations. It is a two-year program of study. Classes meet in the evenings or on Saturdays, and each one is a small-group seminar taught by either full-time, doctoral-level faculty members or highly qualified professional managers. As a consequence, students have an opportunity to engage in practitioner-oriented, "real world" program design and problem-solving in the local community.
