'' The Microsoft® Network Engineer Program has been designed for the student who desires to become a Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer. The Microsoft® Network Engineer Program is designed to specifically offer the assistance and training necessary for students to be prepared to have the opportunity to become officially certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. This program also assists students in upgrading their careers and improving their career opportunities. To become a Microsoft Network Engineer, the student must study curricula pertinent to the demands of Microsoft® and will be independently tested on Microsoft® standards and upon passing will be certified at the end of each component of study. The certification examinations are given by an outside agency licensed by Microsoft® to do the testing. The Microsoft® Network Engineer Student will be provided the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure, manage and maintain a network operating system. ...''
