'' This program develops the medical and administrative office skills necessary for employment in a doctor’s office, health care facility or other medically related company. Graduates are capable of working in the front office and as permitted may assist in the back office. In addition, the program gives students the flexibility of working in a general business office as well. This program also includes courses in general education that will broaden the cultural background of the student. Graduation is acknowledged by awarding an Associate of Science degree upon satisfactory completion of the program. Certification is available through the National Center for Competency Testing.
