'' This course teaches the basic steps in four predominant Latin dances: merengue, rumba, cha cha, and bolero. Merengue is perhaps the simplest of dances to learn, in which the dancers step on every beat. Rumba is also called the dance of love, done to a slow-or medium-speed beat. Cha Cha is a spicy dance, which can be done to a wide range of popular music. Bolero is a slow, romantic dance, suitable for slower music. Instruction will include proper technique for the hip-rolling Cuban Motion, an essential skill for Latin/Rhythm dances. ...''
