The primary objective of this course is to enable the student to use Intruder Alert 3.6 to perform intrusion detection functions on your systems. Toward this end, the course covers product installation and setup, security event monitoring, creating custom policies, and security planning and procedures. The course also includes a discussion of integration with Symantec’s NetProwlerTM product.
Lab exercises are used throughout the course to reinforce concepts and procedures presented in class.

Target Audience

Security specialists, system administrators, network administrators and others how have been tasked with using Intruder Alert to enhance the security of their enterprise networks and systems.
