'' The aims of the MSc in International HR Management are to:

Broaden the international understanding of HR professionals who wish to work in a global context
Improve the knowledge and skills needed to work in managerial HR roles requiring leadership and vision and to advance the practice of international people management
Develop the HR specialist’s capability to carry out research combining business and academic perspectives in the international arena.

On successful completion of the programme, you will have gained:

An appreciation of the diverse national contexts in which organisations operate and how their managements and their (HR) strategies are influenced by internal and external factors
An understanding of key HR strategies, structures and processes multinational organisations employ
The confidence to contextualise global HR ideas, critically reflect on these and select appropriate international initiatives
The ability to use a wide range of practical skills to successfully select, develop, appraise, compensate and communicate with staff in an international work setting
Expertise in developing and implementing research projects to address pertinent organisational issues in international HRM.
Problem solving, communication skills and other abilities
A student will:

Acquire team-working skills and will be required to make presentations, both individually and as part of a team, throughout the course
Be required to exercise initiative in developing and scoping suitable projects and carrying them out in a real-world context.
Develop the ability to make and argue a case; build presentation skills both written and oral, individually and in teams; and improve interaction skills.
