'' This is a unique, research-based, issue-driven qualification that culminates in a MSc degree. The new programme, starting in October 2007, is designed for those interested in the development of professional practice in leading learning and change. The Programme will be of particular benefit to:

Managers and leaders involved in organisation change projects
Professionals in management development, management education or leadership development
Organisational consultants
The starting point for this programme is a business issue in which you are engaged at work. The business issue should involve learning and change but can be based in any sector or business function. The project may entail an understanding of learning and change from an organisation perspective or from the learning and development needs of individuals.

The MSc’s unique approach is innovative, practical and collaborative. The programme is designed for learning to occur in a community of likeminded learning and change practitioners. You will work in learning sets with up to seven other managers from a range of organisations.

Interaction is both face-to-face and online. All set members are responsible for developing a personalised structure and framework for their learning and providing constructive feedback. Learning sets will be supported by a faculty with extensive industry knowledge and an international reputation for their research and teaching in learning and change.

This MSc will provide you with a distinctive developmental opportunity, providing you with the ideal opportunity to stand back from your work role, increase your understanding of learning and change issues as well as gain and practice the research skills, which will allow you to carry out projects in a valid and reflective way.

The two-year part-time programme is of equal stature to a taught MSc. The programme structure, involving workshops as well as independent study, suits managers juggling further education with their career. Attendance at Cranfield for two 3-day orientation sessions at the start of the programme followed by a 2-day workshop every month is required. There will be additional opportunities for meetings with faculty to discuss research projects.
