Course Description:

'' This course is designed for applicants wanting to develop global management skills and features guided independent study, team projects and maximum use of information and communications technology. A unique feature is the action learning format and emphasis on international business competencies. The program is not a generalist one but a master program for candidates with business or related experience.

Students study units in international business law, global business, international marketing, comparative management, business web design, and international management. Optional units such as international accounting, comparative industrial relations, international human resource management, international taxation, international banking, business dissertation management, regional study tour, dynamics of international strategy, economics in Asian-Pacific markets, business strategy and corporate culture and strategic management are offered.

Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisites
Applicants must have
- a Bachelor Degree in business, economics or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution, provided that the specific discipline in the Bachelor Degree is different to the specific discipline of the proposed Professional Masters
- or a Bachelor Degree in a field other than business, economics or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- or Honours Degree or Graduate Diploma (in business, economics or commerce)
- or significant professional experience.

Note that the student may be required to complete additional foundation units at the discretion of the appropriate Academic Program Area Head.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time. Some units are available during the evening. International students studying in Australia on a student visa can only study in full-time mode.
