'' This course is designed for applicants with professional experience in financial institutions who do not have an undergraduate degree or who want to gain skills in the field. Students may be aiming to further their career or progress to higher postgraduate studies, such as the Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance.
Students study units in banking law, accounting, lending and bank management units.
Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisites
Applicants must have branch management status; or have five years relevant industry experience; or have a degree in a discipline other than banking.
Recognition of Prior Learning
No recognition of prior learning will be awarded but a waiver (unit substitution) may be considered. All applicants are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course consists of four units and can be completed in two semesters (one year part-time study). Please note this course is only available on a part-time basis. International students studying in Australia on a student visa can only study in full-time mode.
