'' This course is designed for applicants working or wanting to work in the industrial relations field, who do not have an undergraduate degree and wish to further their studies in the legal and practice aspects of employment law and industrial relations.
Students study a legal environment unit then chose optional legal units such as industrial relations, research projects and industrial law.
Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisites
Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree in any field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent qualification, or substantial work experience including at least two years in the field of employment law or industrial relations.
Recognition of Prior Learning
All applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be given to applicants who have completed equivalent units at a recognised Australian tertiary institution.
Duration and Availability
The fee-paying course consists of four units of study and can be completed in one semester full-time or the equivalent part-time. International students studying in Australia on a student visa can only study in full-time mode.
