'' This course is designed applicants wanting work in a field that requires specialised knowledge in accounting. It provides advanced theoretical and applied studies in professional accounting and helps those interested in pursuing a career in professional accounting and related fields.

Students study units in financial accounting, economic analysis and Asian economies, information for business decisions, accounting (quantitative methods), legal environment, managerial, information systems, and corporate accounting, corporation law, taxation, auditing, accounting theory and issues, finance, accounting statement analysis and accounting computer packages.

Course Entry Requirements / Prerequisites
To be eligible for entry applicants must have a Bachelor Degree excluding accounting majors from a recognised tertiary institution, or a Graduate Diploma or 3-4 year diploma from a recognised degree granting institution.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time. International students studying in Australia on a student visa can only study in full-time mode.
