Course Description:

'' The programme is designed for people in costs or accounting departments who wish to acquire or update their knowledge in this area.
It is also directed at people without experience but possessing the theoretical knowledge that will enable them to follow the programme (economics graduates, technical or superior engineers, people who have completed their professional training studies in the branches of administration, accounting, finance, etc.). And to alumni of General Accounting and Company Accounting and Tax Management programmes who wish to further their training in this area.
Knowledge in financial accounting is an essential prerequisite.


What will I get out of this programme?
You will acquire the essential knowledge and expertise needed to carry out the tasks of the costs analyst.
You will acquire a thorough working knowledge of analysis techniques and how to implement costs and budget control systems, irrespective of the company’s size and economic activity.
You will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the conceptual framework that will enable you to design a costs system in the company.
You will be familiarised with the key elements which support decision making based on information received from the costs system.
And all this, within a global framework of interaction and analysis of the environment and of the organisation’s economic and human resources.


Methodology
An active and plural methodology, with a practical orientation
These programmes are primarily based on active participation. The pedagogical design incorporates problem solving, discussions of case studies and group work.
Throughout the programme participants will be given various opportunities to develop their executive management skills: public presentations, team work, analysis and diagnosis of situations, the application of techniques and problem solving.
At the end of the programme participants prepare a project that integrates all the subject matter of the course and applies it to real company situations.
The Management Control programme employs the residential method, designed by EADA. Participants cohabitate intensely, disconnected from their day to day responsibilities in order to develop group work and problem analysis skills. The exchange of experiences becomes a dynamic catalyst of the residential method.
