'' The initiative of organising a course of this nature has arisen due to the need to address a number of issues that have come up in current day specialised mental healthcare within our healthcare environment: The State mental healthcare network has its own separate structure and is a part of the General Healthcare System. Its services are organised in accordance with healthcare models set down in the 1986 General Healthcare Law and these vary greatly from one autonomous community to another. It goes directed to professionals in the mental healthcare network who are currently involved in the administration and management of specialised services or who wish to broaden their training as a future training investment. What will I get out of this programme? The objective of the course is to transmit essential knowledge that is required in order to manage both out-patient and hospital MH services in the various specialised fields of rehabilitation, social integration and residential mental healthcare facilities. It is highly participational in character and employs proven didactic methods at the hands of renowned professionals with valuable experience in healthcare services and planning, in economics and finance, in professional team management, in communication, in epidemiology, in new technologies and the implementation of quality plans, etc. Participants acquire both general and specific management knowledge and skills in the management of MH services. Methodology EADA has opted for teaching through practice. This programme is based on a methodology that combines the presentation of theoretical concepts with the practical application of knowledge by means a final project where participants can put into practice everything they have learned. The tutoring of those who are responsible for the subjects and contents provides participants with the experts viewpoint within a framework which encourages the continuous exchange of opinions.
