'' Far from appealing to the creative nature of people, the traditional thinking systems give rise to argumentation and critique. Dr. de Bono developed the concept of “parallel thinking�which allows participants to organize their thinking into six different points of view or modes that are characterized by the six different thinking colors (hats).
