IAE Aix-en-Provence
Aix en Provence, France

Course Format: Classroom | E-learning | Virtual Class | Online | On-site | Blended | Self-paced

Course Description:

'' The objective of this full-time programme is to give a dual competence to future DRH or HR specialists. The first is a confirmed capacity for relations, listening, leadership, negotiation, all through an indispensable personal self-knowledge. The second aptitude is having an excellent mastery of the "management" rather than the "administrative" tools of HR.

Admission Requirements
This programme is intended for all graduates with three years of study after high school in all disciplines of higher education who wish to prepare themselves to practice HR (direct admission into the second year of the Master’s is possible for graduates with four years of study after high school who have already acquired, through training or experience, advanced skills in the problems of management of organisations).

Participants are selected for their strong motivation, their knowledge in management and their relational aptitudes. They are either in initial education or in continuing education seeking a specialisation or conversion. The combination of these two types of participants favours professionalism and open-mindedness.

1st year of the Masters Programme:
For admittance: a first university degree obtained after at least 3 years of higher education (Bachelor or equivalent qualification or 180 ECTS in the EU context)

Admission based on the following: TAGE-MAGE or GMAT; TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS (DELF2 for non-French speakers); professional career goals; previous studies; an interview.

2nd year of the Master’s Programme:
For admittance: a first university degree obtained after at least 4 years of higher education in the field of Management Studies (Bachelor or equivalent qualification, or 240 ECTS in the EU context)

Admission based on the following: TAGE-MAGE or GMAT; TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS (DELF2 for non-French speakers for the Master’s in Management Sciences only); professional career goals; previous studies; an interview.

Organisation of Studies
During the second year, students will follow a HRM training and improve their relational skills. UD RM courses are scheduled throughout the school year and are coordinated with those scheduled for the second year of the Master’s of Management of Relations and Human Resources.

It is not possible to follow this programme in apprenticeship because of a very important number of hours.

Programme Overview
The class is limited to 30-35.

The pedagogic methods are essentially based on the active participation of the participants: case studies, simulations, practical exercises, presentations of experience by professionals, work in the field, conferences. Group work is an important part of the programme with the very frequent use of audiovisual means (filmed supports, video editing, etc.) and NICT.

Continuous student assessment is ensured according to the methods adapted to the characteristics of each discipline in the programme and announced by the directors of seminars at their beginning. For pedagogic reasons, presence is obligatory. Symposiums, round tables, where HR specialists are invited are organised and led by participants of the programme.
