Technological innovation has become a critical factor in a company’s survival and competitiveness. As a consequence, the greatest challenge faced by business leaders today is to create a culture of innovation and learning within their companies. How smart an organization is in turning new knowledge and organizational learning into highly valuable products and services, is increasingly regarded as the key source of competitive advantage in today’s rapidly changing global business arena.

However, according to well documented studies, the failure rate of major global undertakings, ranging from large-scale change programs and re-engineering initiatives to international mergers, acquisitions and alliances is well over 50 percent. Amongst the key reasons behind this dismal track record is the organization’s ability �or rather the lack of it �to learn, share and apply valuable knowledge to achieve a constant stream of successful and innovative products and services in the marketplace.

Against this background, this three-day international executive program explores new approaches to team-based innovation management within organizations. The concepts of “organizational learning� “knowledge management�and “innovation management�will be the starting points of the program, followed by an overview of the latest approaches and skills required to foster profitable change, learning and innovation within the organization.
