'' This module aims to integrate theory and conceptual considerations with the practical activities of auditing. You will develop an analytical understanding of the processes and techniques developed by auditors and the constraints and pressures inherent in the commercial and financial environment in which the audit is carried out.



You will build your awareness of the forces which have shaped the modern analytical audit and the limitations of the external audit process. You will look at the importance of regulation, legislation and corporate government practices and you will examine the role of the internal audit.
