'' The MSc/Diploma Programme in Industrial Sales and Strategic Marketing provides an academic programme of study which will lead to personal development and enhanced performance by sales and marketing personnel and business development specialists.

The programme is offered by the Business School at Loughborough University in partnership with BAE SYSTEMS, Corus and Rolls Royce. All partnership members are involved in both the development and delivery of the programme, bringing together the best of the academic world with leading industrial practice. The programme features case studies and projects conducted in company with the emphasis on the development of key competencies.

The course is specifically targeted at professionals within companies to ensure both relevance and direct impact on business performance.

Candidates who work in a sales and marketing, commercial and business development or international sales function who wish to enhance their career prospects.

Programme Structure
The programme is designed to be completed over a period of 24 months on a block-release basis. Attendance is usually in two or four day blocks. Teaching methods will vary from module to module although all modules will involve a combination of taught or supervised sessions and additional private study.

Masters Project
All participants must complete and pass the six taught modules. Delegates may then choose to undertake either the Workbased Assignment to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Sales and Strategic Marketing or undertake the Research Project Methods module and, over a further period of 12 months, the Masters Project to achieve the MSc in Industrial Sales and Strategic Marketing.

Entry Requirements
For admission to the Postgraduate MSc/Diploma in Industrial Sales and Strategic Marketing programme applicants will normally have a first degree award in any discipline from a UK university or an overseas degree recognised by Loughborough University. Applicants with degree equivalent professional qualifications or nondegree qualifications may apply and will be treated individually and on merit.
