'' Middlesex University offers Project Management courses as part of a strategy to provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities in IT.

Who should attend?
Professionals who are involved in or affected by projects, end users, developers or managers.

New to project management as well as existing project management staff As organisational dependence on grows, companies are developing their Project Management capability to more successfully control and implement their project developments. Most important in increasing this capability is the training of existing and new project managers, and identifying the need for an understanding and awareness of the roles that other parts of an organisation play within the Project Management function.

What will I learn?
The syllabus includes the activities of project planning, monitoring and control, change control and configuration management, effort estimation, quality and risk management and communication between project stakeholders, as well as focussing on up-to-date techniques, methodologies and relevant tools to improve the existing working practices of any organisation.

Attendees who pass the course exam should not only be able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles of project management, but also be able to apply the knowledge gained to understand their role within their organisation’s Project Management function. Attendees will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance from Middlesex University, School of Computing Science.

We are in the second stage of ISEB Foundation in Project Management Certification.
