'' This course is designed for graduates with an educational and/or professional background in banking and finance or accounting wishing to gain a formal qualification in applied finance. Areas of study covered include financial management, corporate treasury management, finance and banking relations, funds management, treasury administration and control, and currency and exposure management.
Professional recognition:
The Finance and Treasury Association - graduates of this degree meet the educational components of the criteria for membership at Certified Finance and Treasury Professional (CFTP) level.
ASIC - a number of units offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance meet the training standards set down by the Australian Securities and Investment Commissions Policy Statement 146 (PS146) and are listed on ASICs eTraining Register. Students contemplating a career in financial planning are advised to consult the eTraining Register or a course adviser prior to enrolment.
