'' Full-time study offers the maximum possibilities to share experiences with international colleagues, focus full-time on your personal development and realise your potential.

The MBA is studied over twelve months, commencing in late September with the induction designed to accelerate the process of developing participants on the course into the MBA team. We will be involving you in a dynamic management development programme, which will address your current and future management needs. We aim to recruit a diverse cohort of students with professional or managerial backgrounds within the public or private sector. The MBA is designed to equip you to carry out hard analysis and evaluation of a range of business and management situations. In addition, the course prepares you for some of the softer implementation issues, such as leadership and the skill of influencing others, which can make the difference between success and failure.

The initial area of study has an operational emphasis, which prepares you to observe the world of business and management, through the functional perspective of senior management. The second area emphasises the strategic and integrative nature of business and management and prepares you to take a holistic view of the organisation and its environment through the eyes of a typical chief executive. The final part of your MBA allows you either to broaden your knowledge or specialise in an area of your choice through a combination of electives and your dissertation topic. You may decide to focus on a particular organisation, sector, or business and management topic or theme. Throughout the programme you are encouraged to consider ethical issues facing senior managers.

Students have various motives for studying their MBA on a full-time basis. For some it represents the most rapid method of gaining the MBA qualification and completing their formal education after gaining work experience. For others it may give the time and space to rethink their career strategy or take time out to develop the strategic skills necessary to further their careers. A second class UK honours degree or equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution or equivalent professional qualification or other qualification and three years’ minimum managerial/professional work experience: or
Substantial relevant work experience (for applicants without a degree).
