'' International accounting is a rapidly developing field, and there is now recognition of the need to set the theory and practice in the context of its social, political, economic natural and cultural environments. The School’s extensive multi-country research places it among a global elite of truly international management focused schools. Accounting represents a strong area of expertise within the School.

People who will benefit from the course include:
recently qualified graduates with degrees in any discipline who wish to enhance their understanding of accounting; and those already working as accountants, who wish to acquire more advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting

Our full-time programme runs for approximately 50 weeks, beginning in September, with teaching spread over the Autumn and Spring terms. It comprises:

2 core courses providing the foundations of international accounting, plus 3 options (subject to availability) in more specialised areas of accounting
A choice of 2 pathways - allowing you to develop your interests and specialist expertise
Research methods courses to improve your analytical skills
Dissertation - an opportunity to study a topic in depth
Assessment incorporates a mixture of assignments, tests, presentations and examinations. Examinations are held in the Summer term, after which students complete a 12,000 - 15,000 word dissertation.
