'' The first term
Michaelmas Term will immerse you in modern enterprise �from the economic theory of the firm, to the valuation of businesses and the choice of strategy and management skills. The goal of these core courses and those in the second term is to provide a breadth and depth of knowledge that will allow you to approach any business situation with confidence and understanding.

Financial reporting Finance I Developing effective managers Managerial economics Strategic management Decision science The second term
Hilary Term completes this foundation with a look at the role of marketing, accounting and operations management. It also addresses broader issues of corporate governance and social responsibility, a crucial part of any modern manager’s understanding. The second term includes two elective courses (from the four shown below), allowing you to develop your interests in specific areas. During this term, we also ask students to undertake their Entrepreneurship Project, the production of a complete business plan suitable for presentation to venture capitalists.

The third term
In Trinity Term we offer you the chance to explore your personal interests through a series of electives (see below). These are often taught by visiting experts or by faculty in association with practitioners, bringing together academic rigour and hands-on expertise. The wide variety of courses on offer gives you the chance to develop yourself in preparation for a post-MBA career. A Strategic Consulting Project (which tests all the skills you have acquired on your MBA), an Individual Thesis, or two further electives follow
the third term.
