'' Our programme will stimulate, stretch, and challenge you to move beyond your professional background. We’ll provide you with a critical perspective on the dilemmas of strategy, management and organisation in a complex and continuously changing world. The WBS ethos of blending academic perspectives with the world of practice means that while absorbing theory you will also be strengthening your skills for maximum immediate effect in your workplace. It’s all about practical wisdom.

The way we teach is essential to the way you learn. We like to mix hi-touch with hi-tech for maximum benefit. We teach in a highly interactive way, using a mix of lectures, case studies, role plays, and practical projects. You will visit organisations including schools, prisons, and hospitals for applied project work in order to embed your theoretical knowledge in practice. We also draw on a wide range of guest speakers, both academics and practitioners, to ensure you have access to both leading edge theory and front line practice.

We create a lively dialogue between participants and lecturers, theory and practice, ideas and experience, and action and reflection. Throughout the programme you will develop a critical questioning approach to complex problems of decision-making and judgement. You will study nine core modules and four elective modules with international opportunities available. You will then complete a dissertation.
