'' Our long established MSc in Economics & Finance course will give you a thorough and stimulating preparation for a career in finance or academia. It is taught by academics in both WBS and the University of Warwick’s Department of Economics.

Our graduates are in high demand. They go on to jobs in the City or in the capital markets of their own countries.

Learn how to analyse problems in a rigorous and constructive fashion, and to evaluate the contribution of theoretical and empirical research to financial problems. Our study programme will teach you how to apply the most advanced tools in finance, and you will become confident in undertaking research in finance on your own. WBS is one of only six UK business schools to be awarded status as a CFA Program Partner by CFA Institute.

On our course, you will learn how to analyse problems in a rigorous and constructive fashion. You will also develop your ability to evaluate the contribution of theoretical and empirical research to financial problems. Learn to apply the most advanced empirical and theoretical tools in finance.

The study programme runs for 12 months full-time. You will be taught by academics from both the WBS Finance group and the University of Warwick’s Department of Economics.

By the end of your studies, you will have received all the training necessary to undertake research in finance on your own. This is attested to by our recognition as a CFA Program Partner. Testimonials from our graduates show how much they have got from the course.

The course is assessed 80 percent by exams, and 20 percent by coursework and tests. You will complete:
