'' Study with us for 12 months and receive a strong foundation in the principles and practice of finance. Get to grips with the analytical tools that will allow you to take sound financial decisions and make a success of your career.
Our course is highly regarded professionally. We have been awarded CFA Program Partner status. This tells employers that when you leave us you will be well equipped with the skills practioners need in the field.
WBS is home to the Warwick Finance Research Institute, a centre of excellence in the field. We also have very strong Accounting and Finance groups. Studying with us will provide you with both a strong foundation in the principles and practice of finance, and with the analytical tools required by the finance industry to aid financial decision making. Our status as a CFA Partner Program attests to the level of practical ability you will be leaving us with.
The course is assessed 80 percent by exams, and 20 percent by coursework and tests. The 12 month study programme consists of:
Eight core modules
Two elective modules
A dissertation.
During your core modules you will choose whether to specialise in Investment Management or Corporate Finance. You will take two specialised modules from the stream of your choice. You can also choose to take one or both of another stream’s modules as an elective.
