'' The MA in Journalism (International), highly sought after by applicants from all over the world, is a one-year full time course. It offers international students the opportunity to study the practice of journalism together with the serious study of the social and economic context of the media in the main regions of the world.
The course offers two pathways: practice modules which allow students to acquire the skills, knowledge and experience to enable them to research, write, present and produce television or radio news items and documentaries to professional standards or research, write and design newspaper and magazine articles and features to a professional standard.
A range of other theoretical modules is provided by academics from the schools 5 star rated Communication and Media Research Institute. The course is taught at the Universitys campus in Northwest London, where the School of Media, Arts and Design is based.
