'' This course was established in 1998, the first MSc of its type in Europe, and is currently recognised as the most popular course of its kind in the UK. As a result of the applied work of the Department of Psychologys Business Psychology Centre (BPC), the course is integrated within the professional and commercial life of the capital. Course Content The course offers a blend of solid, analytical human resource management modules with strong, psychologically-driven modules. The emphasis is to equip you with theoretical and analytical skills, as well as practical business psychology skills in areas such as team building, decision making, facilitation and organisational diagnostics. The course aims to: provide you with an understanding of, and skills to work with, cultural differences in the application of HR related skills; provide you with a sound foundation in business psychology; manage effectively human resources in the private and public sectors under complex, dynamic and competitive conditions; and formulate cost-effective solutions to operational HR problems.

Entry Requirements You should have a good UK Honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in business studies, psychology or related subjects, or qualifications from a course of study which includes a substantial business or management studies component, or a Diploma in Management Studies, or another postgraduate qualification in a discipline relevant to human resource management, business or psychology. If you do not have the above requirements but have a significant amount of relevant work experience as well as the motivation to study at postgraduate level, you are invited to apply.
