'' The course was one of the first to be established, in 1995, and is unique in that it is based entirely around evening attendance. It was accredited by the British Psychological Society in 1999, conferring Stage 1 towards registration as a Chartered Health Psychologist. Course Content
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the theoretical and applied bases of health, illness and disease. The principal consideration is the facilitation of intellectual growth and the development of the theoretical and methodological skills essential for conducting independent research and applying health psychology in practice. The course provides a coherent programme of study covering the content, methods and application of health psychology. In particular, it emphasises the importance of an evidence-based approach to health psychology and develops the core skills necessary for Stage 2 training.

Entry Requirements
