'' The Alternative Fuel Technology concentration focuses on developing an understanding of traditional vehicle maintenance and repair skills combined with knowledge of alternative fuel systems. Emphasis is placed on safe handing of fuel systems and problem solving techniques. Alternative fuel technicians must be problem-solvers with excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and an aptitude for mathematics.
