'' Computer Graphic Design is a multidisciplinary program in which students gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of design and develop creative visualization, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Using industry standard software and hardware, students build diverse portfolios with a wide range of print and web projects. The global, social, and ethical issues of graphic design are explored at each stage of the program.
C3 - The New Century Degree
This degree program is for students who see a college education as the pathway to career and life fulfillment, and who are serious about linking classroom learning to lifetime success. These students may have few college credits and little relevant learning experience.
The program gives students valuable opportunities to experience relevant career-related work, network with others in her/his career field, and relate that experience in a state-of-the-art learning setting.
The C3 degree combines the power of three state-of-the-art learning components:
1. Classroom Participation on Campus - all classes are held during the day at the main campus in Bellevue, Nebraska.
2. Cyber-Active® Learning - Students complete assignments and work with other students online, through our award-winning online learning platform. It also gives students 24/7 access to library resources.
3. Career internships - Required interships give students work experience to prepare them for their career.
AND students can earn their C3 degree in as little as 3 years.
Currently there are four majors available in the C3 New Century Degree Program. The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Graphic Design degree program is 132 total credit hours.
Students take 12 to 15 credit hours in each of three 12-week trimesters per year over three years, and complete two required internships.
