'' This seminar is an introduction to the principles of investing. You’ll discover how you can invest a small amount to start building financial freedom (you don’t have to be a “big�investor to make your money work for you.) You will be introduced to the eighth wonder of the world - compound interest. You’ll learn about the various types of investments, how each works and how to build an investment strategy. Topics such as dollar cost averaging, asset allocation, how to value an asset and investment companies will be introduced.

This seminar is intended for anyone who wishes to learn about different investment alternatives and how to manage their personal financial portfolio.

Basics of Compound Interest: Learn about compound interest and how it is calculated.

Review of Investment Vehicles: Discover the many types of investment vehicles, such as stocks, mutual funds, options and bonds. Review which types of investment vehicles may be right for you.

How to read Financial Tables in newspapers: Understand where to find information and how to interpret the codes.

Retirement Investing: Review alternatives for retirement investing and the benefits of starting to save early for retirement.

How to evaluate whether an investment is right for you (The Basic Guidelines to Valuation): Learn how to evaluate different investment vehicles to see whether the price is right for you. Learn how to decide when it is time to buy or sell an investment.

Finding information on the Internet: The Internet has become a great resource of information about investments. You will identify which web sites are useful for investment analysis and research.
