'' The Paralegal Technology program is designed for the student who aspires to become qualified to assist attorneys in private practice, business, and government.

We offer both evening and online classes each semester. Currently, the only two legal classes we do not offer online are Legal Research and Legal Writing. This is we feel that the student can best learn these subjects through one-on-one contact with an instructor in a classroom setting. Though they are not offered online, they are available during the day and evening.

Will Hinds help me find a job?
Hinds has a Career Center in which the staff will help you prepare a resume and can assist you in finding a job. Also, the instructors in the program will be happy to assist you as well. The job market for paralegals in the Jackson area is generally good. You may also wish to consider participating in an internship which will allow you to work in a legal setting while you are in school. This not only will provide you with experience in the legal field, but also can lead to full-time employment in the field.
