'' Constant changes in automotive manufacturing processes and new technology are creating challenging opportunities for skilled auto body technicians. Employment in this field is expected to increase as the number of vehicles grows.
People with formal training in auto body repair will find the most opportunity, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The auto body technology program located at CCC-Hastings provides training in all aspects of auto body repair including sheet metal repair, frame straightening, glass installation, welding, front end assembly, panel replacement, paints and refinishing and cost estimation.
Students develop professional skills by completing auto body repair projects using state-of-the-art equipment in our auto body lab.
