This class focuses on the advanced reading, writing, and speaking skills that English language learners need at home, at work, and in the community. Topics include health, shopping, education, banking, work readiness, and community issues. Students will gain fluency in tasks such as talking on the telephone, writing letters, completing forms, asking for or giving information, and conversing with native English speakers.
