'' As consumer-oriented economies continue to develop around the world, organizations will need people trained in marketing to create awareness among consumers of the products and services the organization has to offer. Students will examine the marketing mix of product, distribution, pricing, promotional activity. The marketing program exposes the student to the process by which the demand for goods and services is anticipated, enlarged and satisfied. Marketing training prepares students for careers in private industry, government, and non-profit organizations, as well as for graduate studies.
Students majoring in marketing must also complete business core requirements and meet School of Business exit requirements.
