Course Description:

'' Macromedia Fireworks 8: Web Graphic Creation is a two-day course that provides Web Designers / Graphic Creators with the knowledge and hands-on practice needed to create rich web graphics. You will learn how to use tools in Fireworks to create and edit web graphics with both vector and bitmap images, work with layers, build buttons, add rollovers, slice images, and optimize and export graphics.

Audience:This class is designed for Web designers and graphics creators, general graphic artists with an interest in Web work, and Flash developers using Fireworks 8 as a front-end tool for graphics creation. No background in graphics editing is assumed.

Prerequisites: Students should have mastery basic computer operation skills including using a mouse, opening, saving, and finding files, and opening and closing computer programs. If a student is unable to keep up with the material in class, they may need to observe the lessons in order not to slow down the rest of the class. We are able to provide one-on-one consulting services and tutoring to support students in that situation.
