'' Make better investments in the oil, gas & power sectors. Building on your knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis, you will acquire valuable tools for project appraisal. You will also review mergers & acquisitions, capital refinancing, and current trends in the financial markets. You will then analyze the financial reality of the oil and gas sector and apply financial market theory to investment in that sector. The course will be supplemented by case studies and readings on return on invested capital, return on risk adjusted capital, and other important issues.
