'' The purpose of this two-day seminar is to provide project managers, whether new or experienced, with a necessary broad foundation in the principles and skills of managing projects. The seminar will use lecture, group discussions and hands-on activities to introduce the key concepts and practices necessary to plan, control and report project activities to ensure that projects complete on time, on budget and on specification.
Participants will be expected to apply course concepts to an actual recent, current or pending project from their experience. Participants will receive an instructional manual and additional handouts for use in class and as reference material.
Course material and content are founded upon, and consistent with, the “best practices�of project management as defined by the Project Management Institute and the Project Management Body of Knowledge.
