'' Challenging opportunities are available to those with specialized training in modern industrial equipment, which integrates the electrical and instrumentation areas. Humbers Control Systems Co-op program provides a systems approach to the control of electrical equipment and industrial process instrumentation in automated manufacturing, processing power systems and utilities industries. Students gain technical knowledge and skills in control systems, power systems application design, equipment selection, installations, commissioning, testing and maintenance using state-of-the-art equipment and computers. The School of Applied Technology provides a range of services to support students, including working with business, industry and government to identify co-op employment opportunities. Graduates are OACETT eligible.
There are many jobs for graduates in the fields of manufacturing, process control utility, and servicing. Technologists are responsible for servicing, maintaining, designing and selling automated industrial electrical control and process instrumentation systems, power systems, and equipment.
