Course Description:

'' Here’s your chance for a dynamic career in the explosively expanding industry of computer animation - used extensively in television/film, animated simulation rides and walk-throughs, computer games, and digital environments. This diploma program offers a unique blend of digital and analog art skills, as well as an understanding of the creative and technical processes involved. Students acquire solid art foundations with storytelling and design skills. They’ll learn to draw, visualize, and effectively apply colour principles. With the mastery of texture mapping, motion capture and animation, students translate traditional art skills into the modelling of characters, objects, scenes, and virtual worlds. Skills in audio and video production are also covered so that story continuity and believability become the hallmarks of student productions.

The Multimedia 3D Computer Animation program is delivered in state-of-the-art facilities. Through unique arrangements with industry leaders such as Autodesk and Adobe, Humber’s School of Media Studies & Information Technology is able to stay at the forefront of the media industry.
