'' Vancouver Career College’s Electrical ELTT program will prepare you for an entry level position as an apprentice electrician with contracting companies involved in residential and commercial electrical work. You will work and learn in classroom, laboratory and shop settings where experienced instructors demonstrate safe and efficient installation and maintenance techniques. Various residential electrical mechanisms will be covered, including power, lighting, alarm, data and communication systems. You will study safety issues and electrical theory. You will also learn to read electrical blueprints and apply the electrical code. Five weeks of practicum allow you to test your skills in a job setting.
