'' The spa industry in North America has experienced unprecedented growth in the last 5 years. Today it represents an 8 billion dollar industry. A similar trend has been reported in Asia, and in Europe traditional medical spa programming is being merged with North American style programming to maximize benefit of industry growth. Most large hotel chains are opening or expanding hotel and resort spas, catering to guests and local residence offering North American style programs.

Due to the fact that over 90% of larger spas (5000 square feet. and larger) are located in hotels and resorts, an educational partnership of hotel and spa professionals is logical and a most efficient career venture.

The Resort and Hotel Spa Management Program is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a management or administrative career in spas directly or indirectly associated with the hospitality industry. The program offers basic understanding of detailed spa administrative characteristics, operational characteristics and working relationship between the spa and resort. The program is a full-time (20 Hrs/Week) diploma program offered on convenient weeknight and weekend schedule.
