TESOL Diploma Program Objectives

The objective of our teacher training program is to provide trainees with the skills and knowlege to become successful as ESL/EFL teachers. It is designed to help both prospective teachers and also experienced teachers.

Greystone College’s 360 hour TESOL Program is recognized as Level 2 by TESL Canada. With an undergraduate degree (as recognized by Canadian standards) and your Greystone Diploma, you may apply for a Professional Certificate: Standard Two from TESL Canada. This 12 week program is available at both locations - Vancouver and Toronto.

Teaching Practice
As a student teacher, you will first observe real ESL classes and then practice teaching with your peers. With your trainer’s assistance and guidance, you will finally teach 10 hours of your own classes. This is by far the most rewarding experience you will remember. Upon completion, you will feel more than ready to take your new ideas and methods into your own classes as a qualified teacher.
