An Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association certificate is granted for each course completed with a passing grade of 69% or higher
Hands-on activities in convention planning - budgeting, menu design, floor plan layout, and creating marketing materials
Tour of a first-class convention and meeting facility
Minimum English level �High Intermediate to Advanced (TOEFL 535 and above)
Convention Management Program Objectives
The convention, meetings, and trade show industry is one of the most exciting and fastest growing segments of the hospitality industry in the world today.
This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s convention business. In addition to learning the basics of convention sales and service, students will gain valuable insight into related areas - food and beverage operations, staff supervision, marketing, and facilities management.

Employment opportunities at entry and supervisory levels exist worldwide in corporations, associations, hotels, resorts, convention centres, convention and visitors�bureaus, and destination management companies.
Employers have a strong preference for multi-lingual students, so your combination of spoken and written English along with your own native language will give you a distinct advantage when it comes to finding the job you want.

Schedule
The program is organized into three four-week modules. Each module consists of two courses. Students receive an AH & LA certificate for each course they complete with a passing grade (69%), and a Greystone College certificate for successfully completing all three modules (six courses.)
