'' The TRU MBA is designed to produce managers of the highest calibre who in addition to having a superior knowledge of the current business curriculum and excellent business research and consulting skills, posses strong critical thinking, business communication, and leadership abilities, and can work effectively in teams.

Courses will be taught with a strong international focus and emphasis will be placed on applications of technology in business. This program will also make considerable use of the case approach along with business simulations, company visits, guest speakers, and consulting projects to further develop the students’ skills.

TRU hopes graduates will leave the program with a high degree of understanding of the cultures and business practices found around the world and a true empathy for all the participants in our rapidly globalizing economy.

The TRU MBA has adopted the phrase "Total MBA Experience" to represent the other many important features of the program besides curriculum that make it a truly enjoyable and enlightening experience for its students. Some of these include:

The TRU MBA serves as a capstone educational program for current and future managers regardless of whether they have acquired their business educaiton to-date through an undergraduate degree in business, a minor in management in a non-business degree, or a pre-MBA program.

This program focuses on providing students with “new�learning and not “re-learning�material they have already covered at the undergraduate level. This is a problem with many existing MBA, which were designed primarily to cater to non-business students, but have alienated students who have a business degree. The courses in the TRU MBA will allow students to focus on more advanced management topics that are not generally studied at the undergraduate level and will help to “take their careers to the next level.� ...''
