Based on the highly praised Spanish language series Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish produced by WCBH/ Boston, the course emphasizes the development of both oral and written communicative abilities. The Destinos series introduces the student to the diverse cultural contexts in which Spanish is spoken and emphasizes the cultural differences among Spain, Central America, and South America. Several oral assignments are completed by phone.
