Course Description:

'' This Masters program qualifies graduates for leading roles in criminal justice fields. Graduates will have developed their understanding of the following areas:

the problem of crime in contemporary Australian society
the role of research, policy development and evaluation
key criminological theories and issues
Attendance
This Masters program is offered full-time or part-time; on-campus or off-campus.
As a full-time on-campus student you will generally attend 12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester. Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week.

Students may take a reduced study load. You will be classed as a part-time student if you enrol in less than 30 credit points per semester. International on-campus students must maintain a full-time study load.

Career opportunities
Graduates typically pursue careers in criminal justice-related fields, including crime prevention, community development, security, policing, corrections, family services, law, justice administration and policy, customs, mental and community health, local government, military services, and criminal justice research organisations.

Students who have successfully completed one of the following programs and have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 or higher are eligible to articulate to this Masters program:
