'' This Masters provides a program of study for construction professionals who seek career prospects in construction engineering and management. The program emphasises academic knowledge and management skills in a civil engineering context. It pays particular attention to managing the different phases of a construction project life cycle.

Attendance
The Master of Construction Engineering & Management program is offered full-time on campus at the Gold Coast campus.

As a full-time student, you will generally attend 6-12 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester. Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week.

Students may take a reduced study load. You will be classed as a part-time student if you enrol in less than 30 credit points per semester. International students must maintain a full-time study load.

If you wish to study part-time throughout the program, a program structure showing a sequence of courses is provided so you can undertake 3-6 hours of scheduled classes per week. However, attendance at daytime classes may be required.

Career opportunities
Graduates can expect to be employed in the consulting sector as management consultants and planners or in the construction industry sector as project managers, site agents or contract administrators. Practising professionals will enhance their potential for promotion to managerial positions.
