Course Description:
'' The Master of Engineering in VLSI System Design (and the Graduate Certificate exit point) are designed for practising professionals in the rapidly changing fields of microelectronic system design. These programs seek to enhance the skills and experience of graduates in their current area of expertise, to advance their career prospects or enable them to gain new and advanced qualifications in a field allied to their current field, so as to enhance their employability. Theses programs utilise the advanced design methodology and state of the art commercial CAD tools to provide the students with knowledge and skills ensuring they be productive in a commercial design centre. Experience indicates that these programs will have special appeal to international students. These programs will also be attractive to graduate electronic and computer engineers or designers in the workplace.
Attendance
The Graduate Certificate in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) System Design 3067 is offered full-time on campus at the Nathan campus.
As a full-time student you will generally attend 16-24 hours of scheduled classes per week throughout the semester. Classes may be scheduled during the day and evening throughout the week.
Students may take a reduced study load. You will be classed as a part-time student if you enrol in less than 30 credit points per semester. International students must maintain a full-time study load.
